Delete Account
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete in the App
Open GoodShare → Settings → Delete All Data
This will immediately delete your account and all data.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to support [at] goodshare.app with your username or email address. We will process your request within 3 business days.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
- Your account information (email, user ID)
- All budget books you created or participated in
- All transactions and financial records
- All categories, notes, and recurring payments
- All backups stored on our servers
Before You Delete
- Export your data: Use the in-app backup feature to save your records
- Shared books: Other users will lose access to shared books you created
- No recovery: Once deleted, data cannot be recovered
